Why your photos are poor in attraction? Why your photos are not touching for the viewers?
The answer is that you still do not realize about ‘Principal of Design’. Most photographers think that good photos can be achieved only you capture unique scenery or wonderful subjects from very remote areas.
Mostly we gave up that we could not capture good photos when we are not on a trip. It is wrong thought. Just for knowledge, I would like to share something here.
Firstly I like to discuss about ‘Principal of Design’.
Good photo does not mean capturing pictures what you see in front.
Real photography is based very precise principal of design and it is a kind of fine art.
‘Principal of Design’ consists of (1) Balance, (2) Proportion and Scale, (3) Rhythm, (4) Emphasis, (5) Repetition, and (6) Figures and Ground relation.
It would take more than an hour time if we go detail about ‘Principal of Design. So, that is all for now saying the heading alone here.
Let me go with one sample photo regarding ‘Principal of Design. The following picture is taken through a window from my house. I did not go anywhere for that picture. It is based on Repetition of ‘Principal of Design’.
My advice is good photos are nearby. Just try to capture!
